We are excited to announce the launch of our Storytellers project, supported by a $69,820 grant from Lotterywest. The Project will collect and exhibit 1000 stories from people across WA and create a symbolic snapshot of what it means to experience life at this moment in time.
Your story doesn't have to be a written piece. You can paint, sing, sculpt, or dance through the storytelling process. And if you have a story to share but don't know where to start, we are here to help.
As part of the Project, we will offer free storytelling workshops to schools in metro and regional/remote settings. The Project also has its own website, storiestransformlives.com and socials.
More updates will be this week as the online part of the Project comes together.
If you are interested in the workshops, please email Stephanie at storytellers@remidawa.com, and we will get more information to you.
It's an ambitious project that offers people a chance to tell that story they've always wanted to share.
Stay tuned; the REmida-Bot
I love the logo design for the the Storytellers project. I would love to submit a piece to be shared.
