Workshops at REmida are unique creative experiences that will stretch your students to think critically and creatively, whilst raising their awareness about sustainability and valuing waste.
Students explore materials from industry that would have been discarded, and imaginatively construct unique and colourful creations. REmida facilitators are trained to nurture the creativity of the child and deliver a learning program that caters to multiple intelligences including visual/spatial, body/kinaesthetic and naturalistic.

This workshop engages students critically and creatively in the design and construction of their own musical instrument. Explore the how, why, when, where and what of the built environment!
Working in groups of 2-3, students will design and build a model building using re-use materials. This workshop is designed to explore a range of topics including (but not limited to!) construction principles, functionality and form, resource use/re-use/efficiency, sustainability and thinking outside the box.BOOKING INFORMATION
Celebrating the invention of the wheel! This workshop will spark some healthy competition. Students race to problem solve their way through designing a wheeled-vehicle that can be propelled across a surface, using weights.
Either working individually or in pairs, students explore the available re-use materials to design and construct a wheeled-vehicle that can (hopefully!) roll across a table top, propelled by a weighted string tied to the vehicle.
